Somatic and Pilate Trauma Group
Strengthen your core and improve posture with our class
Service Description
Pilates and Somatic exercises to help manage and reduce long-term physical and emotional trauma can be incredibly beneficial for overall well-being. These exercises are specifically designed to address the deep-seated effects of trauma that may be stored within the body, allowing for a gradual and gentle release of these stressors. When practiced regularly, these methods can greatly contribute to a balanced and peaceful state of mind. Complete Pilates and somatic routines, which focus on core strength, flexibility, and proper alignment, can significantly improve overall fitness and promote balance. They not only target the body’s core muscles but also enhances flexibility and posture, contributing to overall physical harmony. Fascia workouts, incorporating targeted movements and myofascial release techniques, aim to improve tissue health and overall movement. Trauma is often stored in the fascia, which is the connective tissue surrounding muscles, and these workouts assist in releasing this stored stress and trauma. In Pilates, we emphasize working out the fascia, thereby facilitating the release of accumulated stress and trauma. This class specifically offers clients the unique opportunity to release stress and build strength through mat Pilates, providing a comprehensive approach to physical and emotional well-being. Participants will find that this class not only helps in reducing stress but also in building a strong and resilient body.
